40 FPS lock on highest graphics settings?

Redmagic 10 PRO in gaming mode, Snapdragon 8 gen 4, Adreno 830 which is currently the highest setup on Antutu.

Every other setting gives the highest FPS, but the downloadable one just locks at 40 despite pretty low GPU and CPU usage.

It looks like an issue on game's side, I was looking for answers but the post I've read is pretty old. Any updates on this topic?
