LGA cpu’s are more resilient than people give them credit for. I fished out some old core 2 quad cpu from a plastic tupperware bin full of cpu’s at a recycle facility, all of them just tossed in there like a barrel of peanuts.

It just came in an envelope and wrapped up in bubble wrap. Works flawlessly tho. And was like “only” 430 eur
