I know I'm 2000 and late, but I need to raise the power limit for overclocking purposes, and these two cards have identical specs, just different power delivery/limits.
Don't need to raise it to anything crazy, just a little room to stop power limit throttling.
Can I simply flash the bios?
Card with power limit: TURBO-GTX1080-8G
Bios I want to flash: VGA Bios Collection: Asus GTX 1080 8 GB | TechPowerUp

yeah you can, beware though, your card only has one fan and cannot overclock much
you’re probably already hitting power limit for a reason
check temperatures and make sure they are acceptable
