Pro you have more respect for utility. A caustic trap or ult in final 2/3 circles with 40 people there will get people to back off and potentially kills more than a fight with 1 team. Same thing with fuse, rampart, etc. utility is feared and respected
Pro players are very good at staying alive. Pro tournaments are filled with pro players. Therefore there a lots of people still alive late game in tournaments.
In ranked matches, you can run into weaker players on the enemy team, but in pro league, you know that everyone is insanely good and can dominate at any moment.

Not to mention in comp now they have legend bans so pros have had to adjust their playstyles to accommodate bans

also in pro, they have there own poi, where contesting is quite hard, and only really happens if they gonna grief a team
