Finally I bought a key a few years ago because I use Winrar intensely. Nothing terribly expensive. I’m even now enjoying the latest version. Good investment, and it helps the devs.

I feel like I should finally kick them some money since I’ve been using them almost 30 years but 7-Zip is a better overall program. Not to mention that Windows has built-in RAR support.

I still have a copy of winzip 7 that still runs just fine

I just use win11 default unpacker if it fails I use 7zip, I’m not unzipping huge files mind you so speed doesn’t matter

Oops, I downloaded 7-zip! Nobody tell WinRAR
On my PC, for some strange reason, I’ve found that WinRAR actually extracts and compresses faster than 7-zip, so I am sticking with my nagware.
ignore. or use 7zip. i’ve been using 7zip for a long time. it’s open source.
Just pay for it. They deserve it.
