Building a new rig (I can send specs later but I don’t think it matters in this case.)
Was trying to get the computer to boot and I got everything to turn on, but RAM light was red. Checked it was seated and whatnot, then tried again.
Problem was that I had my other PC (my old one) also connected, and ever since I did that, now when I press the power button, nothing happens.
My GPU is an ASUS TUF 5070, so the light turns on when there’s no power, but when I press power it briefly goes off before going back on again.
I tested both the PSU and the power button on my case and both are fine. Motherboard and GPU still have working LEDs as well (tested by removing RAM and seeing the LED light up).
What’s the next step to test what’s failed? I’m worried it’s the CPU. Also if this is the wrong sub for this, lemme know and I’ll go wherever else. Also googling has been very unhelpful since anything CPU related assumes you can turn the PC on.
