Okay, I understand, 8GB of VRAM isn’t enough. But what about all those gaming laptops, like those with a GeForce 4070? Are they no longer capable of playing games?

In 2025, 8 GB of VRAM should only be reserved for the lowest tier of cards, i.e the 50 tier cards, other than that is totally unacceptable!

HOT TAKE:
A) 8GB are fine for 1080p gaming.
B) low-end GPU consumers should not expect to play AAA games on Ultra setting at any resolution.
Hardware Unboxed review of the 5060Ti 8GB.
