Hello Flyyoshi07, and thank you for your submission to Gaming PC! If you are new please check out our rules over at the wiki [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/gamingpc/wiki/rules)!
We have recently added the useful feature of Title Flair! You can set this manually by clicking Flair under your post once you have submitted your post, but if you missed it in the rules there is a much better way that will automatically flair your post!

To do this simply add what your post is about in brackets before your title. For example for a Build Log you can type [Build Log] before your post so that it looks like this; [Build Log]My new awesome build!, and the bot will automatically set your flair to Build Log! This works for Build Log, Build Showcase, News, Hardware News, Hardware Release, Discussion, and Miscellaneous!

Also remember that this is a place for discussing and sharing our love of Gaming Computers! This is NOT the place for help building or determining what parts you should buy, that is better suited for /r/buildapc. Troubleshooting questions should be directed to /r/techsupport. Thank you again!

*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/gamingpc) if you have any questions or concerns.*

You can get better deals for $800, I suggest looking for refurbished pcs on eBay

  3. schimmlie

You can throw the $120 Windows out of there and spend even less money.

  4. velowen

Once thing I would do. Purchase a windows key from a verified seller on g2a for ~$20 and put the saved money into better cpu. Little bit of a bottleneck going on. Somebody correct me if in wrong please

  5. Juustupurikas

You can get windows for exactly 119$ less

  6. masauers

I think it’s good value for $800. CPU is a few gens behind but still very competent. Everyone’s gonna tell ya to build your own for cheaper but if you don’t want to go through all the work, buying this from your friend isn’t a bad way to go imo

  7. 16gb of ram no longer cuts it. I’ve been doing 32gb for years now. You can get it for like $50 in kits.

  8. SlimTechGaming

Please for the love of god don’t buy windows 11 at retail that’s a waste of money bro. The rest is fine but don’t pay more than 11$ for windows 11

  9. WeirdNorth8936

don’t buy windows. if you’re playing newer games, 8gb vram and 16gb ram won’t cut it. upgrade to something like a 6700xt or nvidia card with more vram and get 32gb of ram

  10. SweetButtsHellaBab

You could build a similar system new for around $800, so I’d consider maybe offering $700 if you’re happy with the components. Personally I wouldn’t like to settle for an RTX 4060, though.

  11. bigmooneys

120 for windows is insane I got it for 1.50

  12. usernameisokay_

Build it yourself and try to find a key from someone who might give it away.
Personally I’d go with an and cpu, price is a tad better and DDR5 so futureproofing. Giving you more money for a 5060Ti.

Also not sure which PSU brand it is, but gold is good.

  13. Own-Signature-7742

Get something with more than 8GB of VRAM.

  14. CleanFlamingo5584

Windows 11 shouldn’t be that much! Check groupon they sell it legit for maybe 8 bucks lol always goes on sale

  15. blueblurspeedspin

The ram type is showing DDR5 for that motherboard on Newegg while you have selected ddr4.

  16. IntelligentBite7037

You don’t need to buy windows, you can get a key off the internet for cheap. I got mine for like $40 Aud

  17. HusleekVIP

I will literally pay you to not get that windows. But to be honest those sketchy $20 keys are worse than M.A.S. and even Microsoft thinks it’s better to use M.A.S. then to give your money to those credit card fraud tax fraud operations, even Microsoft support seems to be using it on people’s systems when their activation isn’t working. I’m not saying you should use it or not but still.
Get a better CPU or Graphics card with the $119 or add it to your monitor budget if you’re planning to buy a new one. or just get a second monitor or PC peripherals.

  18. shewtingg

It’s not the best price by any means. You can find virtually every part there cheaper if you look and shop around (im still talking new here, even cheaper used!). I recommend you building a parts list like this one on pcpartpicker, but optimized, and then just paying a fella $100 bucks to build it for you, you’ll still save $100+ doing it this way.

  19. awake283

No because the wasted money on Windows could be spent on a better GPU. 8 GB will really be a regret in the near future.

  20. master-overclocker

    No…

    Its bad deal..

    Very bad deal …

  21. Altruistic-Signal776

    do not buy windows
also the cpu is overpriced as hell, i can get it for 100 usd in my country

so yea you can probably save around 180 usd and hopefully get 4060ti 16gb
edit: you can also use a stock cooler (make sure you buy box version of cpu) for a while and save 40usd more, because selling old gpu is harder and not worth it than just replacing a cooler later
