I got a 26 kill game on roller and mnk
I managed to keep a 2. Kd on MnK and I’m back on roller for now, one thing I can say is I enjoy the consistency of roller but I REALLY enjoy the fluidity and free range of MnK

Well, I feel the same. I’ve always been a demon aimer. All my other kbm friends complain it’s impossible to win gulags now with the lower ttk, but I’m winning over 90% of mine. Aimassist is to strong there’s no denying that, but now my aim and reaction time is a benefit again because of the lower ttk.

while some people just complain to complain, the valid reason I’ve seen in regards to complaining about controller seems to be when the argument is made that going against controller simply makes KB/M losses feel bad because depending on the amount of assistance it gives the controller user a means of winning while making mistakes and the kb/m player has to play flawless to secure the kill since the assistance will allow multiple mistakes but not penalize the controller player for it.
Watched a streamer years ago on twitch that would actually provide videos and show clips where they would do everything flawlessly and still lose simply because the assistance literally would lock onto player models (different game, not CoD)

I do get wins in gulag and matches, that’s not the point. The point is that many of the wins I don’t get are not because I got outplayed, I just got outinput-ed.
2.70 kd player, had around 350 wins on wz1, blah blah blah, but losing to a pistol effortlessly sticking to me will always bother me.
And talking about gulags specifically, desynced servers are a HUGE pain in the ass, even more so on mnk (since aa reacts to the actual opponent position, not on what you see on screen).

Im winning gulag using sound. Stay in wall infront of me, listen to the other player approach and peakaboo. Works 80% of time. Hahaha

Kbm is so much better since the TTK was lowered. Even with chopped recoil sprays it’s easy to win close battles now

Since verdansk my gulag win rate and KDR have skyrocketed revitalised my love for KBM.

As a kbm player myself, I agree. I win at least 75% of my gulag fights. It’s not that hard imo.

I find the lower ttk to help overall , but only bandage the real issues. I find close range to be absolutely a coin toss on mnk, and I would say I’m a very good aimer on mnk and barely average on controller. I will win 90% of my fights close range on controller, and flip a coin with mnk if i move to mid area close on gulag. I have tens of thousands of hours as an adult on mnk, maybe 1000 on controller max. Coming from someone who has played a couple hundred hours on both inputs in BO6 WZ, just learn controller if you are losing close range. You wont have to play to the input, or avoid corridors. The aim assist is just a huge crutch, and will make the game easier and more fun for a casual player. Just do it if you are getting destroyed and not having fun.
