The first real game was probably day of the tentacle or maybe that Indiana jones where you end up in Atlantis.

Probably Math Blaster on what I presume was an Apple II in kindergarten 1990.
We had an IBM something at home in 1991 where we had Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and another TV gameshow based game but I forget what it was called. Mono color DOS based system running games off 5.25 inch floppy.
I think they were GameTek versions.

Technically it’d be some edutainment stuff like Oregon Trail or Where in the World/Time is Carmen Sandiego from 2nd or 3rd grade, but if we’re going to go with “real” games for fun…
Alone in the Dark, followed 15 minutes later by Wolfenstein 3D!
Made me lust after a 286. When I finally got one, I got a 286 XT, and I was heartbroken to learn that I couldn’t run Wolfenstein at all on it.

Strike Force Heroes
Simply a game that I loved, it was a 2D shooter, it had a campaign, multiplayer and class system, each class with its own weapon and it had a map that was very well done for being a browser game at the time.

Pong in ’71 or ’72. I’m guessing there was a PC inside the big arcade game. There were lots of computer arcade games in the 70s. I bought an Atari 2600 later and played those first arcade games on a console at home.

It’s either Myst (which I had NO idea how to play), Encarta (yeah I consider that a game) or Math Blaster.

Pirate’s Cove. 16k on a cassette.
Mine was a game called [The Treehouse](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Treehouse_(video_game)). I remember playing it in pre-school. At the end of the day when waiting for someone to pick me up, I’d be playing this game.
