Bought the new hydroponic operator mostly because it had a smoke grenade skin called "go green" that I assumed would change the color of the smoke to a type of green, like we used to have with the blackcell smoke skin that would change them black. Unfortunately it appears this skin actually does nothing. Is this a bug? Especially with it named "go green", I assumed it would do something different with the color. Well atleast I can save anyone else money that was planning on trying out some green smokes. Sad.

You are playing on a F2P game which is using shitty tick-rate servers, runs on engines that are powered by hopes and dreams, with terrible UI and multiple visual bugs every single season update and you still spent money on it?

I don’t think they support skin effects on supplies since the bo6 integration. Like the black smoke from black cell a while.
i really hate how equipment skin just doesn’t do anything. at least in MWIII they’d change some stuff, why make skins for something you barely see??? (the answer is to pad out stuff and charge more under the guise of made up value)
BO6 equipment skins haven’t changed the appearance of the used equipment yet. IDK why BO6 takes forever to implement things that have been in this client for years. Or the last client. Over half a year, still can’t change the appearance of attachments. A feature that’s 5½ years old.
There’s nothing directly saying it affects the smoke colour, just the skin.
On a side note though, what happened to the Blackcell smoke? Did they remove it?
I would have google/youtubed it before buying personally. Or probably would have already seen people posting about it if it was a thing tbh.

Idk anything about the skin but if it didn’t specifically say it should turn green i wouldn’t assume that it would just because it said go green. I also feel like they wouldn’t add green smoke grenades into the game but I don’t put much past them these days

Well weed smoke isn’t green it’s white/grey it’s only a skin for the smoke it’s self, I’d love for just colored smokes.
