Bought my PS3 because online gameplay was free while Xbox charges for it. Fuckin state of entertainment is crap these days.

I have PS+ until Nov 2027 (when a year was gettable for as low as $25-30 for 1-Year cards, and stackable).
But I am not getting PS+ when it runs out.

If you think Sony is doing it for the love of the game and not for profit, that’s pretty stupid. If you no longer want to play games on a Playstation, that’s on you, but making a post looking for support about you standing up to mean old Sony is just reaching.

This is why I always cancel subscription right after buying it, so I ain’t caught off guard.
I got the christmas deal, so like £80 for the year, at any other time I usually only buy a month subscription when I see something decent on Premium.

Same here man, just canceled my subscription. My current subscription doesn’t end until October, but it will give me enough to time to research and build my first PC.
At the very least, I won’t be giving money to Sony for no reason. If they could provide me with service for $60 a year a decade ago, they can damn well do it now, too. I have yet to see a legitimate reason why they need to increase costs, and I only play a handful of games, and none of them come from the free monthly ones.
This is finally the push i needed to go PC, and I highly recommend others do the same. I’m not going to claim I’m sticking it to Sony and that I’m making a difference, but personally, I no longer see why they deserve my money for doing absolutely nothing. I played console because of the simplicity and my friends, but I can make new friends, and I can play more games on PC with better performance. Fuck em.

Mine ends on April 29th after like 2016, since the day the PS4 pro come out I have not been out of that. I had both plus and playstation now, so this is from that I had some stacked years, when they increased the price the first time I was like if they don’t offer me the discount I am not getting it, and this past year I have not been using it much anyway, Gamepass is just 10 times better.
I played Astro Bot and Elden Ring on my PS5. And that’s it, vote with your wallet and sense if it is valuable to you.
If they offer me a (substantial) discount I may come back if not, c’est la vie. The only dick move is they keep cloud saves behind plus, you can’t even get them out on usb for ps5, so fuck that Sony. You only made it worse cause I am not gonna get a 3rd party game from you or for your system ever. Anti consumer behavior will not be rewarded or excused. Go punish your execs for losing you millions on Concord or something. I am not paying for that. Not to say I am beyond pissed that they don’t know how to do PC, and their games are still blocked in my country.
