I’m thinking of buying a mythic for the first time ever and I need to which of those two mythic’s is better. My gameplay is pretty open so I’m fine with either, I just need to know which is better overall 🙂 help much needed!

AK47 for sure….switchblade shakes a lot now .

AK is pre-SB, meaning it is missing a lot of modern mythic features, uses lower quality sound, and is more expensive to max. SB is the first mythic to use the new progression system, but is still missing some features like sight options and an unique feature.
The financially best choices currently are QQ9 (barrel color change stopper through shroud), FFAR 1 (additional melee swap animation), Type 19 (infinite multipliers), and the CX-9 (additional voicelikes, if you actually like them).
This depends on if you play MP or BR more.
If BR, AK is something you’ll get a lot of use from, snd the switchblade as a weapon isn’t very good in BR. It has the slowest bullet velocity of any gun to ever exist in the game by an outrageous margin. It’s also very early ground loot so you won’t get to use it much. The AK47 is ground loot on every single season with very rare exceptions. (I think it was removed from ground loot for one ranked season in the entire history of the game). The AK47 is a very strong gun to use in BR.
If you play MP, the Switchblade is a lot of fun to use but it also very limiting because of its range and mag size, bullet spread, sprint to fire delay and ads time, with a reload time that is comparably high even when paring slight of hand with the unusable fast mag because of the 24 (or 26) bullets. There are a lot of ARs with faster reload times with double and triple the mag size. However, in close range, it is an absolute laser and can be built with excellent strafe speed allowing you to dominate in close range. The AK47 in MP isn’t bad but is outclassed in its class. You’ll often lose close range fights and be very limited by mobility. It’s still strong but you’re best sticking to mid to long range engagements.
Both have their strengths, the switchblade needs some slight buffs but it still a solid weapon, still one of the best designed weapons to ever release and a lot of fun to use. The AK47 has a really cool design but has always been a slower weapon that dominate in mid range. One thing I love about the switchblade is it gives you the bullet counter as standard, with a great sight and an upgrade to level 2 gives you all the attachments and the amazing kill effect. It has voice lines and a very cool inspect. Its color changing effect is beautiful and it’s a piece of art.
It’s hard to tell you which to buy, I like the switchblade for its ghost in the Shell connection and overall design and features. Its does need buffs but it’s fun to use and beautiful.
Really, I’d recommend where I started this.
• If you play BR the majority of the time, get the AK47.
•If you play MP the majority of the time, get the switchblade and remember it’s a close range SMG when it comes to play style.
