Legit sounds like something a Thinkpad would say.

Impossible. ThinkPads don’t die.
What happened to it?

Nah, bet she’s just asking for more attention. Like undressing, replacing thermal paste, blowing the fan and removing the felt pad that was growing there over the years. Maybe replacing the disk, and recovering the Nintendo ROMs from it. Poking around RAM slots too.
Mine did that from time to time, especially when thermal compound was conductive and ended up close to the CPU core, where fragile components live.
There are no more like them any more… similar, but not the same.

I would leave you too if you forced me to game on a 13-year-old Thinkpad.

Did the SSD go bad too?
did the storage drive die? because if not, you can pull it out and plug to another PC to get the data off it.
You can get spares for these including whole ass motherboards, you know.
And if the laptop itself died, there’s a good chance that the HDD/SSD is still intact.
o7 for your services, boy.
You can absolutely recover data from that drive.
You can fix a thinkpad pretty easily.
Try rubbing her sweetspot a bit
You could always take the drive out and extract the roms, also rest well deserved v:
Now disassemble this bitch
x230. These were fraught with problems. You got a golden sample of a unit if it’s made it this far.
RIP, all the same.
nah probably just throwing a fit
