Call of duty 2+3
Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of duty 5: World at war
Call of duty 6: Modern warfare 2
Call of duty 7: Black ops
These ones I listed were where I started and ended my call of duty career. Played a tonne of co op on 2+3 because I didn’t have online and when I finally got into high school in year 9 I had a really good year in school and sport so I was able to buy the wireless adapter for the old Xbox 360.
I started playing call of duty 4 online and it changed my life because I’d never played online before, I took to it like a duck to water and started dominating. Loved to do vs with school friends , cheeky games of Mike Myers , hide and seek. I mainly played to be the best at that age, you wanted to have a rep and be known for your KD and this was because I was playing compete sports so it carried into my gaming. I also posted about a previous glitch on Backlot where you could get out of the map and on stairs and also get on the top of the construction building ( you felt like a wizard when you did it ) 🚧
Red Tiger MP5
Gold weapons
Dolphin prone
You have a ‘lag switch’, ‘modded controller’, ‘hacker’, ‘sweaty’ , ‘what the hell just happened’
Along came call of duty 5 world at war and this got me into MLG along with gears of war 2 which were both very credible standouts for online competitive gaming. I doubled up with a lad from down south his gamertag was Jack something and we played all through the summer holidays ending up with 28-3 MLG record which was very tough to maintain through disputes etc because recording devices for screens weren’t that common then. Zombies also got introduced during this game and was also a great filler and replaced Mike Myers in a sense and all those custom games people came up with.
Call of duty modern warfare 2 the year of the quick scoping and nukes. I got obsessed with quick scoping and wish I could of recorded some of the shots I pulled off, one and ones were a biggie in this one and the Eminem song with the trailer really sold this one for the blockbuster that it was and still is. Can’t really remember much of this one except that I was like a robot on it and used to join teams like the (WARPIGZ) and dominate game modes like headquarters etc. I remember the gameplay being quicker for this one and it just being very fluid and lively to play, easier to pull off dolphin prone jumps and 180 reactions.
Call of duty Black ops was the last one I played and remember it being really good. Last one I played and wish I could go back I time and play them all again from release. This post was for nostalgia and memory’s.
Post story’s , experiences online competitive or casual. Post records on MLG , game modes you made and how good you were!
I commented on a post about call of duty 4 and it brought back so many memory’s I needed to make this post.
Happy Sunday!
