this was happening every once in a while to my friend and I and now its happening every game
happens on low and high ping
cant find anything on reddit or anywhere but have definitely seen clips similar to the players rag dolling and not dying but i just cannot find a fix, plz help 🙏🙏🙏

This has been happening to me recently as well. I have 2 ping to servers otherwise and use Ethernet.
This game is so weird, when i have the AWP in my pugs, i somehow be killing mfs that wasn’t in my scope, but when i shoot someones directly in my scope, i somehow don’t even kill em.
As always tech illiterate crowd here will downvote obvious truth: it’s your bad internet connection. I never had that issue on my end, not once.
Hard to say without you having the telemetry visible.
Not new, this problem was there from csgo, but in the past few months I’ve noticed that this is happening a lot more.
Heck, I’ve had games where I am disconnected mid-round by the server, and that has happened a lot in the past 1.5-2.5 months.

Google bufferbloat! You will get inside a world you don’t wanna be in, but might help.

It’s likely a bad connection if we’re being honest, unless this happens on a specific server.
He can try something like https://packetlosstest.com/
Use 400 byte packet size, 64 Pings/s, Duration (like 20s), and make sure he is using the server closest to him.
If you get a nice and even set of columns it’s a problem with the CS server. Else it’s a problem with his home config or his ISP. In that case he can run a trace to figure out where the big jitters or packet loss is.
A friend also had this problem, turned out his Ethernet cable was fucked. We figured it out by following the steps above.
it’s not you . it’s the game is poorly made. it has been happening to me all the time after the Skins update . Im not even surprised since valve breaks the game more then the game itself .
