Crystal Palace was such a tease, It’s a shame we never got to see it.. Imagine a Expansion DLC taking place there and inside of it looks like glory days of Bioshock’s Rapture but in space.
Orion is gonna expand on V’s heist hopefully. We need to know if they pulled it off and if they got their cure

I really do not understand the fascination for this place.

How do you make an RPG expansion for only one of six endings? And if the answer is to contrive all the other endings into getting there then no Im very happy it didn’t happen. Vs endings aren’t there to set up a franchise or sequel bait. They’re payoffs on the games themes and conclusions to its messages.
Imagine hearing bomb lines like “times when I had something to gain are long gone. Now, now I’ve got nothing to lose”, “Before death was inevitable. Fact of my shit life. You let me choose it. Accept it on my own terms”, “Haven’t forgotten a thing. Never will” or “I want to live. As do most” only for the game to go SIKE nah man heres more content.
Stories are meant to end and cdpr deserves credit for allowing their writers to make a story like this with no concessions or requirements. Most publishers wouldn’t sign off on a project like this exactly because they’d argue gamers could be sold more whichd make them more money. No other publisher would put almost 400 million into a game with no happy ending that’s content to leave players wanting more after it says its piece. I think that deserves respect

I always thought this place looked cool. Although the reason I think I liked it so much is because it reminded me of Lucy and her wanting to go to the moon.

For how many times the game mentions “in orbit” about other people, it sucks that you never get to see it. Sure, the Elites look over the commoners on the streets from their penthouses, but who looks down on the Elites? In a perfect world we could see it first hand…

ya i really hoping wed get that second expansion to space, maybe learn more about bright eyes etc.

It would look More like TALOS-1 (without the typhon) along Side More entertainment and less science

Actually this is incorrect, The Crystal Palace was never going to be DLC. There’s zero evidence in the game pointing to that.
If you look inside the actual game files, the crystal palace interior areas were originally cut content for the main quest. It would have happened when you meet the voodoo boys in Pacifica and judging by what’s left of the mission objectives would have involved Jackie, Alt, Johnny and the blackwall somehow.
But that version of the story was scrapped and instead of going to the moon to breach the blackwall, we got the ice bathtub scene instead.

Not like rapture but maybe like the Handsome Jackpot

If you watch Altered Carbon on Netflix there is a floating casino in the clouds. The MC goes too. Literally a place filling with all manner of fetish sex, gambling (on everything from normal games to ‘death’ matches). Always thought Crystal Palace, was the same.

I know it’s not exactly what you’re looking for, but the Talos I station from Prey (2017) really nails this kind of vibe. Great game.
Tbh I think in likelihood you go up there, heist goes wrong and the station blows up killing you. So you literally go out with a bang like deshawn said.
That being said, I think a DLC on the moon would have been awesome. Maybe you even get to meet lucy

Reminds me of how Outerworlds had a lot of cyberpunk feel to it

Scrolling and thought this was about the Man City match this morning that Palace screwed the pooch on after going 2-0 up lol…
That said that’s all i can think of whenever someone mentions The Crystal Palace in game is the soccer/football team, always takes me out. It would have been cool to visit though just to see the orbital setting and how V reacted to being surrounded by almost exclusively filthy rich people
