Other than cable management, are there any tips I can have for making it both function and look better?
Preferably, I want the advice to be free, but any recommendations on items that cost $5-10 USD are okay.
Some help on cable management (specifically, rooms with very little space and flexibility) are welcome too.

Flip your pc the other way, you’re restricting airflow and raising your temp.
Clean that deskpad
* Turn the PC around
* Sand the top of the desk a little and give it a coat of paint
* Try to upgrade that monitor, you can probably go to any small or medium sized business and they’ll have something in their storage room better than that. Hell, I think I’ve got some 22″ monitors sitting around I’ll never use, what region of the world are you in?
