From what we've seen, SAM already had some control of the Dark Aether before the main crew gave her the Sentinel Artifact (Teleported Richtofen, caused the outbreak in Liberty Falls and possibly Terminus) so the Announcer could've been SAM disguising her voice as the Forsaken or another entity.
Now that she has openly betrayed the crew and had her intentions revealed by Richtofen, do you think we'll finally get the classic Demonic Announcer back, or maybe even a new version?

I think it would be cool, I think it would make sense. But I doubt they would actually put the energy/effort into changing the announcer. They can’t even make an intro cutscene and to me it seems that they don’t really care that much about the attention to detail.
