On console, it takes the name of one of the people on your friends list – so they’re probably referring to when it gets the name of someone you haven’t seen in ages
Last time I played moon it had my dads name as the astronaut, I took a screenshot and then cried
On black ops one moon if you were playing online it would pick somebody from your friends list for the name of the astronaut, if you played on the 360 like me you probably have somebody on your friends list from years ago you just haven’t seen online in forever…
This literally happened to me. IainMercsz was his gamertag I think. Never heard from him again after 2021. Sent messages to everyone I thought might be him on Facebook. Nothing. The last conversation we had was him being anxious about his future, and worried he was failing college. We were close friends. I miss him. I can’t even be sure he’s gone, which makes it worse.
I had to stop playing that map. It happened 3 times. One friend was blind. The other 2 gone.
