Oh my God! Just finished this with my friend with whom I had played It Takes Two before. In ITT we both got tired of how repetitive it became in the end but this? Every single level felt like playing a different game. And the storyline was top notch. Did not expect such depth and emotion from such a game. GOTY for me.

It’s an all timer for sure
I’m honestly having such a video game hangover cause of this game. It was SO good that all other co ops look so weak in comparison 😭
The final level really had me and my buddy really scratching our heads as to not just how they pulled it off, but how you even think of it in the first place. Hazelight will have my money without question for the foreseeable future.
Wow, this sounds amazing! I’ve been hearing great things about Split Fiction, but your review makes me want to jump into it right now 🎮✨. Did you find any hidden secrets or Easter eggs during your playthrough? And how does the multiplayer experience compare to IT Takes Two?
The final level was amazing, I just wished it had been a bit longer… I’m a huge fan of this game and it takes two, they are perfect to play with your partner, especially if they are not avid gamers. I even believe marriage counselors should advise their clients to play it takes two
Favorite game this year thus far
Loved ITT in spite of its ridiculous / cringy story and the murderous parents. Playing Split Fiction right now and it’s leagues above, both story- and gameplay-wise! I even made an exception to my “no launch titles and / or full price games” (mostly patient gamer here) and can totally see us playing that one all over again!
How long to finish it?
Can you play this alone or do you need 2 people? Does it have matchmaking if so.
I would say “asking for a friend” but I don’t have any
Can this be played online with a friend in a different location or only local co-op?
If you and your friend liked the aspect of the final chapter, you should absolutely check “Bokura”
