    Whew… Great Special/”Upgrade” edition.

  2. Lifthrasil

Seriously Nintendo how many L’s do you want to stack?

  3. Great, now we can buy Season Pass Switch 2 Edition and feel more premium

  4. Bahaadur73

They can keep it. I hated how the weapons in this game always broke, crafting this, cooking that – no thanks. Was more of a survival/crafting game than a Zelda game. I’m waiting for Twilight Princess & Wind Waker Remake.

Oh – and it’s no surprise. It’s Nintendo

  5. JustARTificia1

So an 8 year game’s complete edition costs £120?

    … MODERN GAMING!

  6. Educational-Ad2773

    $70(base game) +$10~20 (dlc) = $80~90 (NS2 major IP game price)

I heard denfence that $80 is just Mario Kart, so it seems that nintendo just price any thing $80 if they think the ip has a large enough fanbase: 3d mario, new zelda, new pokemon if it ns2 exclusive.

for the first time in my life, i’m going to not buy a nintendo console.

Fuck that, im not rich enough for this bullshit especially when i have a lot of amazing games on my steam deck

  8. digitalgamer0

Will the DLC for the Switch 1 version work with the Switch 2 version?

  9. Revo_Int92

Nintendo deserves bankruptcy even more than Ubisoft, if Ubisoft treats the market like fast food, Nintendo acts like the most greedy asshole imaginable, trying to be the Apple of videogames

  10. sryformybadenglish77

Whoever made this decision is clearly out of their minds. Even Bethesda included DLC when they released the Skyrim Special Edition, and people who already had the Legendary Edition got the Special Edition for free!

  11. The_Specter808

I honestly have no fucking idea what Nintendo is doing this generation.

  12. IndigoBlack-

As a Nintendo fan boy, it saddens me. I’m just gonna wait till someone sells it on marketplace for way less in 5 years.

  13. EldenLord69Trump5000

Yeah, I’m not getting the switch 2 just outta morals lol. Like…..Nintendo needs to get off this high horse thinking they can do anything they want and just get away with it. I recently invested in a PC and it was the smartest thing I could have done.

  14. The_Silent_Manic

That DLC will of course be sold later for full price.

  15. DunnoMouse

Watch the new Pokémon game be 80 Dollars too

  16. MaroonIsBestColor

Better off just emulating the Wii U version

  17. Did they lose a ton of money during the Switch 2 development? What’s with these decisions?

  18. DeLongeCock

Impressive. Nintendo is taking greed to a whole new level.

  19. Pharsti01

    Is anyone surprised by this?

    We are talking about Nintendo.

  20. Bllaise

And I almost regretted buying the physical edition of BotW that has an updated game and all of the DLCs on the cart (no download or codes required) Physical complete editions are the best 🤟

  21. smellyourdick

What a genuinely stupid move. The game industry standard has been to include all additional content and dlc with next gen rereleases. Old man Nintendo once again proving how behind they are in the times.

  22. Nerasch

    bwahahaha I ain’t surprised xD
Fans will be happy to pay twice, have fun licking Nintendo’s ass!

  23. Human_Wasabi_7675

Aaaaannnnnnddddd all of you dumbfucks will bend down and fork your wallet to shitendo with no lube.

  24. Elfeniona

What does it matter, nintendo folks will buy it anyway if we’re being honest.

I mean it obviously suck but …

  25. BadIdeaSociety

Don’t worry, you will be able to buy an official Breath of the Wild Switch 2 Edition Expansion Pack Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack for 30 bucks.

  26. supernsansa

Nintendo fans are pathetic and the company knows this. Such contempt for the ones paying their salaries…

  27. Rony51234

Welp, i had been thinking of getting it just because my botw is on wii u, but i guess i wont be then

  28. To all the chuds telling me that the new switch 2 pricing is OK because Nintendo never do DLC…..

BotW is 8 years old. After 8 years, even Bethesda would only provide a GOTY version. Ubisoft might even consider ir.

  29. Arnhermland

This company is going off the deep end.

  30. Da1witdamstrplan

Show them with your wallet, that will hurt them. Remember the oled version which should have been here is not out till a few years

  31. ZazaB00

That’s fucked, but it also just tracks with every other move they’ve made.

  32. JaceKagamine

Disne- I mean Nintendo adults, drop the comments here and defend this decision, I wanna see what kind of delulu you guys use to justify this

  33. DumbFuckYsoh

When emulating the WiiU version with all bells and whistles is better than a re-release on the newest console. Yep, sounds like Nintendo to me.

The worst part is people will still buy it instantly, no questions asked.

  34. Rex__Lapis

Look for the Nintendo or switch 2 subreddit for the most insane mental gymnastics on why this is fair lmao

  35. Th3Gr1MclAw

They’re not happy with the fact that it was by far the highest selling LoZ in history…. They need to squeeze more money.

  36. Arslanmuzammil

Somehow Nintendo fans will find a way to justify this as well
