Just added a second monitor to my setup and I’m curious…what do you guys use it for? So far I’ve just been keeping my Apple Music playlists pulled up for easy song skipping without exiting my game.
Discord, OBS, Visual Studio Code, or reading documents. That’s also where Microsoft Teams goes for work. Sometimes a browser if I’m browsing at the same time as gaming.

I don’t have a second monitor. Just one big Ultrawide. I don’t like distractions while I’m playing games.

I’m pretty cautious about making sure my computer temps are not too high when gamin, so i keep adrenaline software open on second monitor to monitor temps/fps. It also helps me see when frame time spikes occur so i can fiddle with settings until they stop. Nothing particularly interesting tbh

Had two monitors for 3 years added a third about a month ago, yesterday I got rid of the 2nd and 3rd, so much more space on my desk and I realized I almost never have a reason for more than one

i switched to a vertical setup with a widescreen because i previously had 2 adjacent screens and began getting neck pain over the years. neck pain was completely gone in 2 days.

I leave rule 34 up as the desktop background to see how long it takes to burn in.

Typically, YouTube or other background tasks, if I’m not gaming. Sometimes, I even have the TV connected, as the third screen, just for fun.
Right screen is game, left screen is documentary, laptop shows current space and sun weather while the little pc screen shows current Schuhmann frequency.

cases with vertical GPUs should be the norm
GPU sag is getting scarier and scarier each day, clearly the ATX layout isn’t good anymore

Hate to be that guy but PSA: be careful how you view your 2nd monitor. It can put a strain on your back very subtly over time and you may end up with back pain and a muscular imbalance. Very common in my clients and it took me years to fix mine.
