i can see tiles. did it smash after picking it up from tiles and setting it on the couch? the sudden dampening of the resonance when setting it on the couch could have increased the stress on the glass hence it shatterred.

people are always blaming floor tiles because of their hardness, but at this point, I think it’s because of how fast they transmit heat

When this happened to me, I bought a replacement on Amazon, returned all of the broken pieces and told them it arrived like that 😅
You see, this is because the couch is touching the tile floor.

Contact the case manufacturer, even if it’s past warranty many companies will offer a new panel just out of courtesy
Also, please vacuum your couch thoroughly

I love the tile jokes. I want to point out (to everyone in the future): it shattered while being ON the couch. I was going to pick it up when it went KABOOM.
edit: maybe don’t put your glass panels on couches or tiles.

The Tile floor on the bottom right corner, tells a completely different story.
Damn. Floor tiles got you even through the couch. Is nowhere safe?
I feel like there’s an inside joke at play every time I see a shattered glass panel with tile flooring just barely in the frame
>On the title.
A tale as old as time.
Let me guess, it stuck to the couch leather with the help from your ass sweat and trying to get it unstuck deemed to be too much stress and BAM!

Every time I see one of these posts, I’m glad I went with the mesh version of my case over the tempered glass one.
Sorry for your loss.

Mine has a real 0 other ones are with an O
The moment I saw a tile floor, it all made sense.
Tell the truth op, you swept the glass up and dumped it on the couch so nobody would see you put the glass on the tile floor.
Not good
get some gold epoxy and glue it all back together so it has sick gold trim pattern
