Jablonsky and his Jablonsky ass truck. MF'er couldn't have hired a cheaper merc and spent a little cash on some decent tires before demanding to use this slippery ice skate of a truck for the mission?!!

On my first playthrough I was like "Woah, Sinnerman's pretty heavy", but on subsequent playthroughs it just feel kinda forced, hyperbolic and unbelievable.

No hate to anyone that likes it. But watching Jablonsky get zero'ed then zero'ing Joshua, Rachel, and battling Vasquez is far more rewarding to me than grinding through the actual mission.

I only wish you could blow up his dumb truck with grenades, too.

Can you shoot the van with Joshua in it?

I hate it too 🙂 With passion… I remember my first playthrough I didn’t get what was happening because I was trying to follow the mission and was wondering why the heck is my client force-killed no matter what I do. In the end, I sandevista-killed the fu$cker inside the car and just ran away from the cops… I didn’t even get that there was something more in the mission.

The whole thing with saving rivers nephew. That shit is messed up. Yeah we’re saving them which is good but the bd really messed me up.

Interestingly, I think this is my favorite gig in the game so far. At the very least, it’s stuck with me.

It was talking to the Doll at Clouds that made me realize how much heat the writing in this game would be bringing the whole time, but it was this one that made me understand how *audacious* they were gonna get with that A-game. It made me very uncomfortable the whole way through, and left me moderately obsessed with Rachel the corpotrash BD producer.

On the other hand, my method of playing is to try to squeeze as much as possible out of one playthrough, so I haven’t had to do it again. I imagine it’s less compelling on the second pass.

I love that it’s *this* job, not Claire’s races, that reveals whether or not someone knows how to drive in this game.

And anyway, the real reward for going along with Joshua is getting to watch Rachel’s meltdown at the end if you sabotage it. Nothing brings a smile quite like the impotent rage of corpotrash who didn’t get her way.

Cyberpunk players when their cyberpunk game has cyberpunk themes:

If you even want to call it a mission. I hate the “mission” where you meet up with River after you rescue his nephew, and spend time with his family. It feels so forced upon you, especially as female V. It’s so damn drawn out because of the game you need to play with the kids. I only do it because I want his gun at the end of it. If it wasn’t for that, I would totally skip this optional “mission” every time I play.

I love this mission. My V just says fuck it and goes with the flow.

I stand by sinnerman being very hamfisted and trying to be deep but if your look past the emotional tone being forced onto you the entire thing is kind of stupid and the dude who wants to crucify himself (i forget his name) is just blatantly insane and the best option would be to just murk the corpos exploiting him and call it a day.
