Frankly, it could be a multiplayer Superman 64 clone for all I care so long as the campaign is on the same level as Titanfall 2.

Well, about time EA fucks up another beloved franchise.
Maybe it will have a Helldivers inspired PvE mode? It is one of the few IPs I could see doing it well.
I could careless for extraction shooters so this is a huge bummer.
Just leave Titanfall alone 2 was a perfect game and everyone who developed it is no longer on Respawn.

Killing Floor 3 and Payday 3 have been serving as warnings to me that third installments aren’t necessarily living up to the previous game anymore. In case with Payday 3, the developers of that game switched from their in-house Diesel Engine to Unreal Engine. And that switch was rather rough and showed in the end product. Respawn Entertainment switching from their in-house version of Source Engine to Unreal Engine does, frankly, make me see a pattern here. I hope I’m wrong, but … I’m getting mixed signals from this news article.

Ive never understood or cared to find out what a battlepass is or care about gold bling outfits, hats or guns, dont like loot in live games, dont care for anything king of the hill style game play I do not enjoy waiting and watching other people play

An extraction shooter could work if done properly, no game except the game that started the trend (Escape from Tarkov) has been able to do it very well though.
The leak also said it’s on UE5 too, so you have screen vaseline, ghosting and terrible performance to look forward to as well!

I saw this on the titan fall subreddit and laughed it off as another guy who didn’t take his meds, joking about TF3 having extraction game mode as the main focus.

NO ONE WANTS AN EXTRACTION SHOOTER! Do what you did on TF2 and expand on it story mode and MP is what we want. I want to fight along big bot and kill pilot who also has big bot
To be fair, as long as the Campaign is a decent length and is near or equal quality to TF2 then they can do whatever they want with the multiplayer
If TF3 Is real, and actually happens, I want everyone to remember that pretty much everyone who actually worked on TF1/2 have left Respawn. Unfortunately It’s pretty unlikely Titanfall Is ever coming back to glory.
Cool…so the game is gonna be dead on arrival. Might as well not even waste the resources to begin with. They make money hand over fist with Apex…they don’t give a fuck about Titanfall anymore unfortunately.
