I just wish for an option to save Bill Jablonsky by being quick enough.
L9n21s
No. I hate talking to him. And the worst part? If you make one mistake while following the police car, it’s over and you have to start again, without the option of quick saving. Even though the latter half is satisfying because you can kill Joshua, it isn’t worth the struggle of coming so far.
Storyguy613
Sorry choom, can’t agree here. Wanted to shoot him the whole time. I couldn’t bear to watch the ending.
robobravado
No way. I did that quest once. Now I successfully complete the gig every time.
Chris56855865
Nope, not for me. Did it the first time, and it’s insufferable, the guy just wants to be the center of attention, has this righteous savior complex. I was absolutely ready to put a mantis blade through his neck the second he went to the family of one of his victims, and started preaching to the distressed mother. I’m not religious, so the whole crucifixion thing only felt like some stupid chore I had to stand around for, and only finished the sidequest because of curiosity.
Second time around I completely decimated them the second they stopped the police car, that’s what I was paid for. The guy should’ve been turned into compost a long time ago.
RobMo_sculptor
I want to have the option of shooting the guy whenever we want like at the mom’s house or at Piez.
Graffin80
I enjoy cruxifying him but the side quest is unbearable his rambling and no skip dialog options i hate him so much I get very much enjoyment nailing him to that cross
sergiizyk
Ok, this quest is as dividing in opinions as the BD they make in-game. I guess developers did a great job here
mebjammin
Blocked by shit driving physics half the time and a “doing what told” mind set the other half. So wish it was easier to start the story part than it is so I could have played it more than once over a half dozen playthroughs.
Simulated_Simulacra
Really bugged me that the game artificially protected the Producer.

The only thing I would change in this quest is that obnoxious fuckin corpo on the left
My V really wants her to stay at his house…
_shaftpunk
Great storytelling and world building quest on the first playthrough. Tedious as hell and skipable on a second playthrough.
bjornironthumbs
Its good once. Now I shoot him soon as I see him
Majestic-West-2562
nothing tops the peralez questline for me
neverspeakawordagain
The best part of this quest is that you can make conversation choices that make him seriously doubt his faith and then he gets absolutely horrified at the idea of going through with the BD, but he does it anyway. I just wish they had prompts so you could convince him to do the There Will Be Blood “I am a false prophet! God is a superstition!” line as you nailed him to the cross.
TheOrqwithVagrant
It’s interesting/cool from a writing/dialogue/Johnny perspective, but I detest what little actual ‘gameplay’ is in that quest. That initial car chase with the scripted traffic, the eternity that you just have to stand around and watch while the imbecile who hired you get shot, etc. Reminds me of some of the issues I had with Phantom Liberty too. They’re temporarily forcing an action RPG to play like a Telltale game, and it’s… frustrating.

River Wards quest line.
While we do not share the same tastes in clothing, we do share a common goal of stopping cereal killers. So it kind of balances out.
That, and “A Bloody Ritual”.

My first playthrough I simply killed him in the van and walked away. Took me a year to learn that if you spare him you get one of the most memorable side quests ever made.
Substantial-Flow9244
Gotta add in it’s really cool they used YouTubers for the ads in game
DarthMalec
I noticed that talking to Joshua instead of Rachel on the way to PieZ leads to her being satisfied after the next mission is done
Scyobi_Empire
hard disagree, even the johnny that spawns when you drive is more interesting
Robborboy
Absolutely loved it. Did it twice on the same playthrough because I had to go back 20 hours to save Takemura
BadSkittle
Balls to the Walls exist, therefore your statement is wrong
BPinkInYourArea150
Anyone else just skip and take the money?
NewDragonfish
I wish we could just zero the guy after the initial encounter but before the BD shooting. This monster doesnt deserve to be immortalized , just a swift, quiet, insignificant death.

What quest is this?

Rachel Casich.
Such a shame she wasn’t dateable.
ODST_Parker
I don’t know, I’d have to narrow that down from a long list of great ones.
Though, this one is definitely up there. I see it quite differently than some, being someone with pretty strong feelings against religion, and it even caters perfectly to me in how V can react supportive, but not onboard with the whole idea. I love how many ways it can end, even minor variations to account for different views on every situation. Very well written.

I did these quests one playthrough and it was kinda cool but now i just use sandevistan, smoke him and dip on a motorcycle. I dont even fight night city’s strongest cop. I do the job im paid to do and have no time for joshua’s bullshit
darthchubby
On my last playthrough I chose to drive the nails in myself. As soon as V hammered the first one in, I almost puked.

My boy, Brendan, is too polite to publicly disagree with you so I will…”I Can See Clearly Now” is the best.

I just wanted to shoot them both and leave lol
SargathusWA
Nahhhhh bs side quests. I killed MF on the spot ! Felt really good
Anxious_Client9978
I somewhat found this quest to be boring, I was tempted by the offer of double pay to leave early. However, seeing the BD recording studio in edgerunners made me feel a little better about the quest being completed.
Lord_Chodington69
Great Sidequest for a first time play through, buut overall, I enjoyed the Peralez side quest more
