Getting the actual controllers going took some gymnastics. So happy with how it's working. Had to use jzintv emulator to map the keypad portion of the controllers. Could not figure out how to get the retroarch core that uses freeintv to map completely. I honestly don't think it can map the Intellivision controller keypad.

Used Intellivision Flashback controllers.

I was then able to make use of a DB9 USB adapter sold here https://www.retronicdesign.com/en/ Had to update the firmware from here: https://www.retronicdesign.com/en/download/

Nothing beats the feeling of getting retro stuff working with modern tech, especially when it’s a challenge like this. The fact that you managed to get those Intellivision controllers working with the Polycade Sente is seriously impressive. Those controllers are a pain to map sometimes, but you definitely put in the work. Impressive emulator gymnastics !

Holy shit, Intellivision baseball is my all time favorite console game and I thought no one in the world appreciated it. You can pass from player to player so quickly and accurately! Thanks for posting this memory.

Is it named after the Go concept of sente, like Atari is similarly?
