There’s a lot of sympathy for Parker in lieu of what ultimately happened to her, but even if things didn’t go so spectacularly bad in the heist, there’s no way in hell Evelyn was going to be OK and V was going to get paid.

Even if the VDB didn’t mindnuke her (which was going to happen, regardless of double crossing), Arasaka didn’t find her (which was _also_ going to happen, eventually), Dex didn’t get her (which could’ve happened if the aforementioned parties didn’t get her first, after not paying him, as was her plan), or the Relic buyers didn’t kill her to tie loose ends, it’s highly unlikely that Parker was going to honor her deal with V after betraying everyone else.

The girl was a joytoy that played high stakes poker with the biggest bluff in recent memory and the whole thing was a telegraphed disaster.

What I’m saying here is, if the heist didn’t go so bad, my money was on V putting a bullet in her head eventually… but when V got to her… lets say she more than paid for her fumbles.

I mean for most people that’s what Night City is. No matter who you are, what you do, how many eddies you got, at one point you’re just a hololith in the Columbarium or just an urn.

And then the day turns to night, night turns to day and its like they were never there to begin with.

To Think The Mourning Could Be Factually Wrong.

    God damn you Netwatch!

  5. Where? I have searched the Calombrioum multiple times and never found her. I knew she had to be there but just must keep missing her.

Edited: I thought that said violently, and feel like the comma placement in that second sentence would be extremely important.

“She died valiantly fighting the system”

What was Judy’s thought process while writing this 🤣

  9. National-Chemical132

She was dead before you even met her at Lizzies.

More like she bet everything she had on escaping the system, lost, and hurt a lot of people in the process including herself. Nothing about her was “valiant” by any stretch of the definition.

Did she fight the system though? Parker went for it all, and lost. Horrible outcome. But fighting the system?

  12. Dry_Log8073

No she didnt. She offed herself after being rescued. I mean ik she went through alot but to Johnnys point “this is how she displays her undying gratitude for going through hell to help her.”
