According to Zews he was “fired” from PGL Bucharest. My interpretation being he was asked to not cast anymore but is still billed for the tournaments duration.

He’s more suited as an analyst than a caster.

Dude yaps so much during a round.

He gave it a shot. It didn’t work. No shame in that. Use the knowlege for analysis

  3. “Community wasn’t ready”, this fucking guy lol

Didn’t like his casting but being fired like this is so embarrassing I hope he’s ok 🙁

The people want DDK back pgl! Will you heed their call?

thank god ngl, his casting was actual hell to listen to.

  6. Never fun when someone gets fired but I like Zews in general but he’s not ready for this level yet.
He needs to grind t3 t4 casts till he’s ready for higher levels of play.

Yapping too much about random shit and not letting Anders do his role.

Best of luck for him if he keeps going down this road instead of coaching again.

I like Zews, but pairing him with a pro like Anders just made a middling cast so much worse than it would’ve been otherwise.

I loved his bit after aurora won, even got anders xD

He was awful. Just terrible. Almost as bad as Josh “Steel” Nissan.

Good decision. I am usually not a person that notices stuff like this (bad action, voice acting, casting etc) but god damn I had to switch to a different stream 10 minutes into the stream. It was unbearable.

  11. I’m not tryin to shit on the guy but on his twitter he’s got posts talking about how he’s created a geometric model of consciousness bridging quantum physics and cognitive psychology or some shit.

Has he always been this much of an oddball?

I have a degree in psychology/“consciousness studies” and that stuff is a lot more complex than I’m guessing zews has any familiarity with. Like I have a PhD and I’m still a novice.

Assuming he hasn’t actually created a model of consciousness and managed to bridge some of the most complex academic theory and research out there, something might be going on with the guy.

I literally turned the stream off after listening to 30 seconds of this weirdo’s ‘analysis’

He’s just not ready for play by play and I honestly prefer him on the desk, he let too much of his anecdotal experience in the scene lead his casting. I honestly expected him to be able to dissect the tactical part of the game having presumably anti stratted tier 1 teams but clearly some language barriers made his breakdowns quite stale, certainly a reality check for the talented work our casters in this wonderful scene bring us.

agree with the decision here tbh, the guy sounds a bit out of it like some sort of manic episode or something (maybe not but fucking sounds like it), anders should be put there with henryG or someone of a similar level to do him justice
