It’s already there, but it’s a lot less glamours than fiction promised.

Hopefully never. I rather live in society where everyone flourishes. That’s what I wish for but unless you believe in Heaven it’s actually impossible…well let’s just say ALOT of people flourish.

Take look at last Microsoft [chip advertisement](https://youtu.be/Q4xCR20Dh1E?si=vD4KS6UBzk5mqyK-), every week new robotic advancement, screens in every shop, technomagnats in power, amount of devices and cables in every room of every house, ecosystem collapse, decline in social quality life… it’s little steps one by one, but be cautious and you’ll see where we’re going.

Bruv, we can’t say this enough: tis a **warning, not a template**
People really be like: “Finally we can build the Torment Nexus from the famous novel ‘Do not build the Torment Nexus'”…
The aesthetic is specifically there to denote the superficiality of the cyberpunk society, it’s purposefully extravagant to underline the disconnect between it and the reality of the human condition in those worlds. In our world, really, because we are pretty much there.
Xanxost
Its here and now. Its just not looking cool or sexy and we have to live through it.

Hate to break it to you, but the cyberpunk future is going to look more like *Elysium* than whatever this is.
