The only time valve does anything is when someone is ruining their reputation mainly when the normie youtubers post about it or when bots start spamming the n word
I got that exact same ban and exact same response from steam support a few weeks ago. My inventory was around 4k.
I buy skins from gambling sites, but never had anything to do with Syncho… Might be a general gambling ban.
Valve's TOS literally states that you should only use the community market to trade skins, using ANY other payment system and then trading the skins puts you at risk of being banned, Valve just never acted on it because no one cared until coffezilla ruined the fun. that guy is not fun at parties.
