Foe me it's Sinnerman. I'm not religious but I hate seeing a corporate leech profit from exploiting a man who desperately needs help. I'm fine with completely screwing myself out of a reward if it means ruining Rachel's payday.

Agreed. This one and Councilwoman Cole. Too bad you can’t fail the Cole gig. Can just leave it unfinished.

  2. HeathenAmericana

I hate this mission, it keeps bugging whenever I try to just kill all of them at the beginning. I find all three, cop, media and the guy insufferable.

  3. LeviathansEnemy

I don’t even get this far. I just murk the dude right there on the street, as the client wanted.

One of the few quests I kind of hate, just from a game design perspective, because it railroads you. I want to kneecap the cop and let the client have his vengeance and the game just takes away your agency instead so it can steer you towards the outcome the writers want.

Don’t feel bad for Joshua—he’s a murderer and his crucifixation is entirely self-serving and a narcissistic attempt at martyrdom.

  5. Seraphion91

Just shoot him at he first encounter. Problem solved 😀

  6. Dambo_Unchained

Did it all once because I heard a lot of buzz about the mission and see where it goes

But since then I don’t even take the gig anymore. Hate everyone involved and dislike the fact the game railroads you

It takes a dark sense of humor to enjoy this gig, and you kinda just have to care that everyone involved is an ass, except you can feel some pained sympathy for the lady who hot duped by his religious awakening.

  8. Dunnachius

Anything involving Judy. I’d do all her quests for absolutely nothing at all.

Panam? Well over watch is too good to say the same thing about.

There’s also quite a few “hit gigs” that I would gladly do just for the lols. There’s a lot of scumbags in night city,

Beat on the Brat: Glen. I’d take the car every time even though I’ll hardly ever use it. I’m swimming in eddies anyway.

  10. Scaryassmanbear

I’ve never been able to get past the restaurant for some reason.

I have never quit a mission so fast. I noped the fuck out of there chance I got at the victim’s house.

Then I reloaded because the completionist in me demanded to see how it ended and I deeply regretted it. Truly the most baffling, disturbing quest in the game.

  12. FainOnFire

Pretty much most of them. I make so much money off of the Cyber psycho gigs and the first batch of main missions that I don’t really need the money from the rest of the game.

Pretending to be a Rockstar and making a Fake World for the Fans.

Anything involving Killing Scavs, VDB, Animals, Wraiths any people traffickers or kidnappers really. I suppose I don’t murderize 6th street or the Moxes out of hand (unless in a misison) and am fairly neutral towards Valentinos though I’m sure they’re just as bad as some others. Aldecaldos seem on the level with 6th street and the Moxes are a net positive.

I dunno. I really like nailing him to the crucifix and getting paid to do it. We all die in the end anyways.

  16. ArtificialWhale

Nah the end of that quest line is too good imo, even with all these talking and rails, did it in all of my playthroughs

  17. NotAllDawgsGoToHeven

As an ex-Christian the mission was a very surreal visceral experience, forcing himself to become a martyr because of his guilt…..

  18. MalevolentNight

I’ve never done that one, after I realize what it is I’m ok with losing the car. I don’t understand how 50m or less is losing the car but ok I’m not gonna worry about it. I’m not participating in anything but killing him, and I guess that happens if he gets away and I don’t have to learn about it, my v sleeps better for not knowing.

One of the few missions that had me leaning back in my chair after it was done and appreciating the depth this game offers.

Another mission I enjoyed was one involving a reference to The Office (American version).

  20. StrongStyleDragon

Shoot to thrill mainly because I suck at it. + Waston isn’t my district. I rarely go to sleep there. I always just zero him. My V has a reputation to uphold. I get a fair days pay out of a fair days work. I usually do everything.

  21. TheHamWarrior

What about paying instead? I know you don’t have to, but that lil zen monk guy? I pay him every time. He deserves it.

  22. baddorox

I would have taken payment anyway bt would have liked the option to shoot everyone also.

  23. Dolphhins

I’m on my second play through right now, probably not gonna bother with Delamaine or cyberpsychos

  24. baddorox

I think this is an interesting gig, although not so much for the action but for the content, how the murderer thinks of himself as a martyr and how dying a worthy death that makes him famous and remembered will not make his wrongs right but will somehow justify the murders he made, he’s not talking about being forgiven but only going out in a blaze of glory….

…wait who are we talking about here?
