I think that’s what makes this so much harder on subsequent playthroughs. You know V will only be mean to Jackie during these scenes. V doesn’t act nice when the adrenaline is going (usually) and they don’t know what’s coming. Honestly some great writing, here especially
The one in the car, the one time I actually chose it, does kinda highlight how bad Jackie is for this job. Or rather…how green he is, I guess would be a better word than “bad”. Honestly the whole crew was, but for whatever reason nobody ever acknowledged that. Not even V, until it was too late to back out at least. It’s kinda weird tho cuz PL slightly retcons it to say that V was seemingly aware that the heist was doomed from the start but did so just cuz Jackie was their friend. Which to me kinda sounds like V was a bad friend to Jackie.
