At this point 5000 Super refresh seems the best bet but if your GPU dies, shit out of luck gotta get something.

The rx 6800 is cheap alternative to consider. Has better raster then the rtx 3070 and goes for about 360 usd for retail and around 290 usd used. The 16g of vram will also be viable for a long time as well.

I still have a working GTX 580, and ATI 4770 I plop in when the worst case things happen. Break out the classics, to play and keeps the rest going.

Lol my brother is still on 980ti and sees no real reason to upgrade. A well made game looks and runs just great. Raytraycing is cool but still falls behind better art style.
