First gpu ever was a evga 2080ti FTW3, and i guess itll be my last evga product too
Glittering_Bison_844
I got the same gpu in a prebuilt when I don’t know there were 3gb and 6gb versions
bobalazs69
Evga gtx 1060 sc 3gb same as you
willster97
Geforce GTX 660 Super clocked was great in 2013 for me
spacesluts
I believe my very first gpu was an evga ~~8600~~ 9500*GT waay back in like 2008. It was good for garrys mod and whatnot, but not much else.
rifr9543
Only had one, a GTX 970 SC. But it’s served well in many systems over the years
left4candy
First and last, 2 980ti’s.
Both had their vrm burnt up, first got replaced and 6months later the “new” refurb replacement also burnt up.
Other than that a great damn card, but some of the electronics were not as good as they should’ve been.
TroubledMang
The mermaid card.
6800 GT AGP version, and was one of the 1st to use their step up program to a…. 6800 GT PCIe lol. There wasn’t anything higher at the time IIRC.
Not much of upgrade, but my DFI lanboy PCIe mobo wasn’t released when I bought the card, and it sounded like a good idea to use it with the old mobo, and upgrade/swap later. Opteron FTW!
ExocetC3I
I think my first EVGA card was a GTX 660 I was running in my i5 2500K build. I ended up getting a second one and running it in SLI, as was the style of the time. I finally upgraded those for a 1070Ti which may have also been an EVGA card.
Before that I was probably running some kind of ATi Radeon card or maybe a GeForce 6 Series?
SandiestCow
1070 still on my shelf
medic00
EVGA rocked. I believe on of the first companies with those metallic backplates. Didn’t they at one point made motherboards also?

1080 TI FTW3 Hybrid for $899 direct on their store. Those were the days.

1660 Super 6gb. Still running it 4 years later, 3 PCs later. Will be upgrading to a 12gb 3060 soon, but keeping the 1660 as an extra since I use a lot of monitors
PowerPie5000
The first and only EVGA card I’ve ever owned is the GTX 970 SC. It didn’t get a lot of use and I still have it in a box somewhere amongst my old components.

8800 GTX
Truly a masterpiece.
samuraiofsound
GTX 2070, purchased in 2018. Still going strong, great card and not monstrous in size.

“Geforce GTX 680 2GB” back in 2012 baby 😀
BlckMlr
My first card was a 7800GT on my first system build when I was 15
So may adventures in WoW back in its glory days, Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2, and COD the OG COD and COD 2 oh and Brothers in arms.

RTX 2080 that I still have because GPU are too expensive, and 2080 still kickass.
AudioVid3o
An AMD Radeon hd 7750… In 2021, then I upgraded to a gtx 480! Then it died… Back to hd 7750

My EVGA was their last sadly — Nabbed a 3080 FTW3 via their queue system back in COVID.
My first and only card from EVGA was a 3070 when it was launched. Card was RMA’d just after 2 months. It started artifacting, one fan started to have an annoying rattling sound and the card just suddenly died.
TheAltOption
7900 GS, first pci-e gpu for me. To be honest I don’t remember the name on my cards prior to that one.
pertante
The last card I got from them was a 3060 XC directly from them over 2 years ago for MSRP, shortly before they announced they were no longer doing graphics cards.
mca1169
My first ever GPU as an EVGA GTX 550Ti. it ran for a solid year and a half flawlessly before being replaced by a GTX 670.

TNT 2 ultra.. 32 mb

EVGA gtx 750ti. Have been using them ever since. Made sure to grab a 3070 XC3 before it was too late and still have my 1070 sitting as a back up or to toss in my fiancés rig we’re building out of scrap parts
kanmuri07
Mine was a 1070Ti SC Black Edition that I bought 6 years ago that I temporarily converted to liquid cooling with the NZXT Kraken G12 mount, but changed it back to the stock heat shroud. It’s still lives on in my sibling’s PC.
Now, I’m rocking the 3080Ti FTW3 Ultra in a full open loop. Also going to convert it back to the original shroud, but with extra thermal pads for the back to contact the back plate.
L-Malvo
First dedicated gpu? IIRC a GTX 260 or something. Ouch
littman28
970 sc! Ran strong from 2014 to 2020. It ended up in a secondary computer that I built from older and excess parts which I ended up selling. Come back EVGA!
ErrorToast
gtx 760. still using it today
Prime-PCB-Repair
I bought and still own a decent collection of EVGA GPU’s, my first EVGA GPU purchase being a 9800 GX2 SSC. However, EVGA often gets praised for the wrong reasons in my experience. Their RMA rate was fairly high given their reputation, and a few of their specific models landed them in hot water as they had a tendency to cheap out on their power delivery circuits. Their real bread and butter and what really earned them praise was their customer service and warranty terms.
smithbird
A 2gb GTX 960. I still have it. Its sitting in my spare parts pc I’m building to mess with Linux. Such a beast at the time, my dad bought it for me so we could build a Hackintosh.

4080 now I got the 4080super, my next card will be the 5090.

Had a evga gtx 460, taught me to never ask my parents for electronics
BigSmackisBack
I had a GTX 570 classified, it had a blower style heatsink/shroud but it wasnt loud but my steel case might have helped there. I never got another EVGA card and i guess now i never will, shame, definitely one of the better made ive had over the years.
Its been stripped down to the PCB and cleaned up, just need to find an appropriate sized frame to put it in.
thatguyimpulse
First EVGA GPU was a 1070 SC, and my current GPU is actually an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3. I usually sell my old GPU when I upgrade, but I think I’m going to hold onto my 3080 as a relic even when I upgrade.
psych4191
I completely forgot about that gaudy sticker lmao. Stuck that shit to an old bookcase.

8800GT, miss those days

Sadly never had an EVGA, but I wanted the FTW3 3090 so bad. Still do really, one of the coolest graphics cards ever made.
