So in total I spent 220$
Specs are as follows-
Intel i7-990X Extreme (OC'd to 4.31ghz on air),
Generic 22gb ram (uncore-3003mhz),
Gigabyte G1.Assasin motherboard, Zotac GTX1080 AMP edition(OC'd), Antec lanboy air case, Antec truepower classic 750w 80+Gold certified PSU,
Coolermaster tower cooler (idk), 128gb frontech SSD, 500gb Seagate HDD, 512gb Samsung NVME SSD.
The i7-990x is VERY rare here in Bangalore-india, and apparently the Antec Lanboy air is rare too in many forums I've noticed that. Did I do good? (Yes I know it's old, I like this platform for some reason)

Forgive my cable management 🫣
You built a nice little retro PC there.
1080 is valid ngl, I feel like you can run a surprising amount of games
2008 called and it said that your build is fucking good.
Looks like a Caterpillar PC. Heavy duty.
PSU is upside down
Upgrade your mobo and i7 to a 6700 or higher
What case is that? I like the style of it
the 980x and 990x were fantastic. i was running a 980x until 2019 and threw a 580 gts xxx in there. Worked great in 1080. Gave it away to a friend in need.
Nicest case I’ve seen on this sub.
Breh love it, super cool case
I didn’t know what that case is, but it’s different, I like it.
Congrats man, you set out with a goal and satisfied that goal. Hell that is a nice case and that gtx 1080 pulls ahead slightly of my XFX rx5700 despite it being a younger card then the 1080.
Pretty cool case, I like it, looks “industrial”
I like the look of it!
Hnnnng, I remember lusting after this case while I was younger. Loved the design of it.
it looks ficsit approved
Nice score on the Lanboy Air, definitely want one but people are selling them for $300+ on eBay
Can it run Crysis?
Although that cpu might be holding the gpu back, the looks of it make up for that. You did good.
I’m not being sarcastic: I love rate my build posts especially if they include all these details
Also, I’m still rocking the 1080 and it still gets it done no joke.
