different one each time but i feel the belt is my favorite offering, though i don’t think V’s message when offering the belt was ideal. misty said his father abused him with that belt, which seems like a dark offering, but after he stood up to him for the first time he kept the belt to use against his father in case he ever came back. now that he’s dead, he’s gonna need it in his afterlife.
That “Where is Ronald Reagan?” Doom meme but with Jackie, his father, and the belt. i can’t be fucked to edit it right now.

A basketball like he was a kid that got killed in a hit and run. I can’t get v to pick up anything else 🤷🏻♀️

Jackie is enjoying afterlife and sitting on Satan’s golden throne in the depths of hell because nobody dared to tell him he can’t sit there after witnessing what he did to his piece of shit dad with the belt I sent him.

Honestly I usually went with the belt and book because those were the things that originally defined Jackie to me. I always thought that the ball and the tequila were just things that he owned and weren’t important. Then somebody pointed out that they were because the tequila was a sign of the life he wanted and the ball was a symbol of his friends and that he could be more than just a thug.
the_mellojoe
I usually put the Tequila and assume my V brings the book with them and reads it from time to time to remember their friend.
TooTaylor
The book for sure
WearyMaintenance3485
For Whom the Bell Tolls. It’s so fitting, quote and all. Also love how it shows more depth and brains to that gonk than he usually got credit for.
NikushimiZERO
The book usually. Just felt right.

I did the book, Jackie probably knew he wasn’t the smartest or the most intellectual guy, but he Fer sure wasn’t a gonk.
He tried to improve in areas where he lacked.
He was open to experiences.
Was able to adapt even if it wasn’t the easiest.
I think the book shows that.
ANewMagic
The book. It seemed the most fitting, somehow.

Hemingway.
Then I took his guns.

It’s the book for me. V’s quote is good, but the ending feels closer. Jackie knows he’s not going to make it, he just hopes he can give those important to him a better chance before he dies.

The tequila represents him. A rarity, a limited edition, something normally the corps would dominate control over but not this time. It’s also personal. The section he’s carved for himself has its origins in authentic, latin pride – the real deal unlike what the corpos are swallowing.
I like the book but the devs just used it because the protag semi-heroically dies and the quote just kinda fits.

The book, always the book

I chose the basketball mostly because I believed in the little boy’s hope of becoming someone great like the player 🥺
ForsakenAlliance
Always the book!
DifficultCarob408
First playthrough – for whom the bell tolls
Second playthrough – tequila, just to be different. Book is the right choice though IMO.

Either the book or the tequila. The belt is crazy to me. Imagine Jackie’s mom’s reaction when you pull out the belt her husband used to beat her son with and start telling stories.
mamadovah1102
I always do the book, it just feels right.

I chose For Whom the Bell Tolls. It was his favorite and it seemed very fitting and meaningful.

After readin for whom the bell tolls myself for high school grad, its that every single time
Futur3_ah4ad
The book. I figured that it would be particularly special to him, seeing as he’s read it dozens of times.
SmolRobyn
On my first playthrough I chose the book, it just felt right. The fact that it’s a book that Jackie read and loved felt like I was sharing a part of him when V reads the quote from it
prodding_xanadu
the book. shows a deeper side to him than the face he liked to put up
Blackwatch260955
Last time I went with the Basketball. Just two Heywood kids who wanted more out of life than being some punk gangoons. Jackie deserved more than what he got, and at least he had his chance to be something more.
