When I was in an apartment with my wife, there wasn’t any room for a full desk/office setup for a battle station, so I had my PC next to the couch and a recliner next to that. I would then grab the monitor from behind the couch, which had just enough room for it between the couch and the wall, when I wanted to play and put it on the coffee table in front of the recliner. I got a harder-type mousepad and put that on one arm and the keyboard on the other. Was the most comfortable and ergonomic setup I ever had. Could play for hours and hours without any wrist, arm, or back issues which sometimes plague me at desks.
Unfortunately once we got a house, there was an office so I didn’t have an excuse to do the recliner setup anymore. Although sometimes I do debate with myself about buying a recliner for my office to replicate the setup again. I just need to get past my reservations of the cost.
