Even ignoring that 90% those system requirements are bogus and don’t mean much, the game launched last year on the fricking **Nintendo Switch**. It’s reasonable to imagine that the upcoming PC version is at least partly derived from the work that’s been done for the PS4/Switch version, so that it will have a lot of leeway to scale down to low-end hardware.
But really : just wait for launch and actual performance review before being outraged over this.

The system requirements even then are pretty small, you’ll be fine.

Probably because RDR1 was built on an older, less optimized version of RAGE and by the looks of it they aren’t going all out or investing lots with this port, probably because VI is in development.

If i were to guess it is because the GTX 770 no longer recieves driver support

Yes, it’s really bad that they haven’t tested if their port run on half dead toaster from the bin behind Walmart. Why the hell people expect devs to support hardware that was abandoned by producer? PC from minimum settings of RDR is basically lowest end mid tier PC from almost decade ago, you can get something like that (or even faster) for 20-30$.

People still look at steam sys req? They should just remove them they are useless these days, used to be accurate years ago not anymore

So is the game getting like a remaster or is it just the old graphics just finally on PC?

Everyone is being ignorant here and idk why.
The configs they announce are based on release windows. Companies aren’t releasing indie games and stating “minimum specs: Intel 2600k, ATI 9800 pro” because those are completely irrelevant now.
They don’t update the recommended specs unless there’s a major content update. When was the RDR2 content update? Ill wait.

How pissed would you be if it’s just the Xbox 360 ISO running on some proprietary emulator made by Rockstar? 😅

Its TakeTwo, they always do the least effort possible.

Is it going to look like rdr2 at all or is it going to have the older graphics? Same question for game play.
