Good as Paradox has done a terrible job with Bloodlines 2.
As a huge TCR fan, I really hope they knock Bloodlines out of the park…I worry for them. And I worry for fan reaction if the game isn’t great and how much they’ll target TCR (which might be fair, might not, but the history of this game is already so fraught and TCR is only one part of it).
Talking about a third game when they haven’t released the second one, and by the sounds of it the second game is a total shitshow. But I guess any publicity is good publicity.
Shocking that while owning the World of Darkness property that they let it fester like everyone else has. Shockingly they never made a grand strategy game in the IP, especially with how well it could fit into the genre. CK3 with a darkness coat of paint could be amazing.
Just let it die. Bloodlines 2 looks so fucking awful in every possible way.
The original story to 2 sounded interesting to me, but apparently the brass didn’t think so.

Sounds like they’re leaning towards an action RPG style for Bloodlines 2.
This kinda sucks, though, as I was keeping an eye on the new Bloodlines game since its announcement a few years ago. I hope that the Chinese Room studio will do the franchise proud, but we’ll see.
Better than cancellation though. However, I think that might be the end of the series.
I feel that Arkane could do it. Not that they will but I would play it.
It took 20 years to get a second game into production… Can we please just get it done before worrying about a third?
How hard is it to give this IP a worthy RPG without shitting the bed. It has to be cursed at this point.

Kinda A damn shame that World Of Darkness Doesn’t have any Good Games (outside the original VTM) like not only The Vampire side anything From WOD could get a Good Game but Noo that’s Seemingly too hard.
Addmitedly I also Never Expected to get a Really Good DnD Video Game and here we are. But still other Tabletop RPGs Managed to Get their Way Into Main stream Through Video Games and Other Media (DnD, Cyberpunk, Warhammer) why is WOD not Capable of that?
They should’ve felt that way about Bloodlines 2.
I mean, let’s be real, the franchise is done, period. The last update from Bloodlines 2 looked awful.
I’d still love to see Larian take up a remake of VTM: Redemption, though.
Why are we even talking about Bloodlines 3, when Bloodlines 2 isn’t even out?
They’ve been talking about it for almost a decade and still haven’t released it. Let’s just assume if they manage to ship Bloodlines 2, that’s the end of the IP. If another one comes out, it won’t be until 2050.
