Bought a 7900 XTX last year. The amount of driver troubles I had is amazing tbh
Edit: The AMD glazing here also amazing. My whole system is AMD because I didnt want to support the prices set by blue and green. But drivers and immature in comparison to Nvidia. Features like FSR are considerably worse than DLSS. I had an RX Vega 56 a few years back and VR gaming was impossible. I paid 1000€ for this card and expected better.

Still quite high. In my country 7900XTX costs around $1300. I can buy it abroad for around $1000, still pricy
if only it had any bearing on reality. In my country xtx is still around 1100€
Prices are still too high if they are serious about selling of excess stock. Shave off another 100 or two.

you can find used 6800xt for under 400 which has almost same performance as 7800xt
AMD GPU….never again. Easily the worst I’ve had in a decade. Loving the CPU however.
$800 for a raster only GPU that can’t fo VR is waay too high.
Come AMD tempt me as I’m still using my RX580 8gb, we all want a deal that will be a surprisingly brilliant value.
If its under 600, I’ll bite.
It’s still 1300 where I live, the 4080s is the same price or on sale for less.

7800 XT price seems great, can’t say same for 7900 XTX. Almost twice more money for 30-35% difference.
