    It’s Microsoft, If you don’t want to see their custom imagery in the search bar then you can hide it in taskbar settings or in GPO/Reg straight up disable it.

    You can either have it or you don’t, in Windows you can’t have it both ways since that part is baked into the search bar.

    Really hate Microsoft does this though. Too many things about windows are… I guess linked to the web is the best term for this? ESPECIALLY Windows Search. [Thankfully there’s a good alternative](https://www.flowlauncher.com/)(wow. a LINUX user. recommend a GOOD PIECE OF WINDOWS SOFTWARE. fuckin hypocrite) for it that’s like Spotlight on MacOS as long as you let it index.

    Yeah you can turn it off but it’s dumb it’s even on by default anyway.

    That’s why I always debloat that shir, just today I made a fresh install of the new 24H2 version, and the first thing I did after installing the drivers was debloating that garbage and blocking telemetry, the only reason I’m using this garbage OS is because of gaming (linux doesn’t offer me what I’m looking for gaming)

    Fuck Microsoft.
