The raptors sticking their heads in the crevasses you hide in were good. The spear throws were fun.

For its time it looked sunning.

This game is burned into my brain, played the hell out of it when I was younger. Such a fun game
SunnyFamilyCult4Life
Played it and replayed it multiple times still one of the best ps2 games in my opinion and graphics were insane for the era
Nuo_Vibro
You can clear it in a few hours and its an easy 1000 gamerscore

Really one of the best, if not THE best, movie to game adaptation ever.
Also, the game is superior to the movie.

Was definitely an awesome game. Loved both the parts where you played as the person and kong. Felt so badass tapping to break the dinosaurs jaws. Game was pretty intense too

In addition to being an actually good game when most licensed games were crap, King Kong was also famous for having a major bug that allowed unsigned code to run on the Xbox 360. It was very significant in 360’s homebrew scene.

that game had no right being that good

Classic game, a hidden gem!

I still think about this game often. Simple mechanics, well done level design, great sense of scale, genuine horror elements, sense of urgency. Just ugh. What a great game. No reason to be as great as it was.

This game had some mad jump scares in it. Used to make my skin crawl sometimes too. A decent fun game though. Up there with The Warriors for movie to game adaptations

Yup they were really good at making video games until open world became the trend

Fun fact: If you have the 360 disc, it will play in your Series S/X.
Fun fact: Michel Ancel, creator of Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil, was the game director on this project.
How dare you forget the gamecube
I played it recently on my series X all I needed was the disc
It’s playable on Xbox with Backwards compatibility.
It is playable on modern Xbox systems.
You missed a comma between Xbox and 360.
Wish you knew about it being backwards compatible on Xbox. Grab a 360 copy if you can.
This game was so cool. It gave me so much dread and anxiety though.
