right! then take it apart pull out all of the hardware put it back together to find out you plugged the chord for the power switch into the wrong spot and it no longer lights up when you start it up.

As a member of the PCMR I would never mash my PC power button. That’s why NES controllers exist.
When I built my first PC I installed all the components and closed up the case. Pressed the power button and it didn’t do anything and I wanted to cry. A few minutes later I realized I never wired the motherboard to the power button on the case…
