One of the main reasons i dont play comp games anymore between everyone trying so hard and hacking its just not worth it the only comp game i play is rocket league because they have a skill leveling system and fairly decent anti cheat
the system is designed to go in waves and the whole thing is always turned in the hackers favor. Cut the ricochet devs some slack, they will always be fighting a losing battle.
So the reason behind this is to pet the regular hackers get into it and get the others that do it in other games that came to this game turn on their own so that the system can track more of them and slap them all down with a ip and location ban. Sadly that won't always work with VPN's

You can literally go to the files on pc and turn off anti hack without any programs or anything
