My new setup is in its beginning stages. Obviously going for a black/grey/wood theme. I was inspired by a setup I saw online that was not facing a wall like most are. With the back of the desk facing out, I have spent many hours in cable management, which I will highlight in a different post down the line. (I didn’t notice that one of my wire clips under the monitor riser lost its stickiness and that’s why you can notice a wire hanging there). With my desk facing out, I have mounted a 55” LG C1 tv across the room for media viewing (not pictured). I just picked up the floating shelves and threw a couple things on them, those items will change at some point to better fit the space. Question for anyone still reading, should I add a 2nd monitor arm for my main monitor? That was the original plan. I can attach it to the same base that is holding up the vertical monitor. I have not purchased the 2nd arm as it’s not totally necessary with the base stand fitting as it does. But aesthetically, the 2nd monitor arm may be a better fit. If you enjoy my setup, keep an eye out for more pictures and updates of the remainder of my office space to come soon.

Hey OP love the moody colors. Curious, what shelves are you using on your slat walls if I may ask? I’ve been wanting to do the same thing with mine!

  2. Never seen an open-rear setup this clean. Amazing!
