Just spotted someone selling a pc with the following spec for $1400:
Nvidia RTX 4070ti Super 16gb
Ryzen 9 7900x
Asus B650E-F ROG Strix
240mm Nzxt Kraken AIO Liquid Cooler
32gb G.Skill DDR5 RAM 6000mhz
1TB Inland NVMe SSD Gen 4
Pc seems pretty new and the post claims it was recently built. Looked into the profile of seller, seemed like the seller had previously sold many gaming pcs. Was planning on building a new pc soon with 1500 budget so upon seeing this post I thought that this had to be a “blessing” sent from the Gods. Do you guys think it’s a good price for the components? Does anyone have any advice on how to make sure the components of the pc is what the post say? I overly worry about scams when it comes to buying things second hand like this.

Honestly, looks great. I don’t see anything wrong with this at all and saves you a few hundred if you spend this yourself.
Just remember that the 7900x is a 2 CCD chip. Two six cores so it’s actually worse in gaming half of the time than the 7700x but a monster for most things lol. (Not really that much of a difference to matter though.) I still buy a 7900x myself though the power lol.

I wouldn’t recommend jumping on it. Best case, you hurt yourself. Worst case, you hurt both you and the pc. On a serious note, if you pick it up in person, ask the seller before you arrive if they can have it ready to boot in front of you. They might not be the happiest but assuming they’re a decent seller they will probably oblige and that should calm the nerves.
Put all those components in a cart and check the price.

that’s an extremely good deal for 1400AUD, almost a “too good to be true” deal. that’s basically half the retail price if you wanted to build the same thing new. that gpu alone is worth 1200AUD new. I’m a bit suss on it tbh. would be going to the address and testing it myself before purchase for sure.

Worst case, based on the post, the RAM is practically garbage, and you spend a bit more on an upgrade there.
If everything is working and they let you benchmark it in person, congratulations on the find.
