The purpose of this posts is to highlight the toxicity running rampant through the community right now and serve as sort of PSA to be respectful of one another.
I'm not here to garner any pity points.
Rather, I want to open dialogue on why we think the community is in such a bad state right now. For it's not just my posts, it's everywhere.
I understand tensions being high with the upcoming release of BO6 zombies, and it being rather divisive among the fan base.
But this doesn't act as an excuse for us to cut each other down and insult one another. We all have differing opinions and we should be respectful of that.
We, as a community, need to band together and support one another. Toxicity will get us nowhere, and only put off newcomers getting into the zombies community.

“I’m not gonna sit here and let you weirdos…” is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen here, like he’s the Zombies community police.
I get that it’s the internet and all, but holy shit at the end of the day it’s just a game, nobody should be getting so heated over a game. There’s a difference between being passionate, giving constructive criticism and being a shitty person dragging down what is essentially just a concept that someone came up with, that’s not even a real thing.
It’s the internet brother. People will be as toxic as they want with little to no repercussions. Keep posting what you want to and block people who are just being mean to be mean. It’s not worth your time or energy.
Well the community is extremely divided right now so this is to be expected.

If you’re allowed to express joy for something, then someone else is equally able to hate on it. Doesn’t matter if it’s made from a billion dollar company that hasn’t cared about it’s consumers for over a decade or if it was a fan made item.
