Hi folks,

I recently spent a great deal of time tinkering with my memory settings attempting to get 128GB running super stable on my 7950X3D.

Memory specs:

  • Silicon Power DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) RGB C30-38-38-96 (6000) Hynix die
  • 6000MT/s (PC5-48000)
  • 288-pin CL30 1.35V
  • SP064GXLWU60AF

https://www.silicon-power.com/web/gb/product-Zenith_DDR5_RGB_Gaming_UDIMM

I ran following to test the stability.

  • AIDA64 Extreme 7.35.7000 System Stability Test for 8 hours (Stress CPU, FPU, cache, system memory).
  • Testmem5 0.13.1 with DDR5 Ryzen3D @ anta777 profile for 8 hours.
  • CoreCycler 0.9.6.2 with PRIME95, AIDA64 & YCRUNCHER options for 8 hours each (24 hours total).
  • OCCT 13.1.7 stability test (CPU + RAM) for 6 hours for each of (24 hours total):
    • Data Set: Large, Mode: Extreme, Load Type: Steady, Instruction Set: SSE
    • Data Set: Large, Mode: Extreme, Load Type: Steady, Instruction Set: AVX
    • Data Set: Large, Mode: Extreme, Load Type: Steady, Instruction Set: AVX2
    • Data Set: Large, Mode: Extreme, Load Type: Steady, Instruction Set: AVX512

Here are the settings just in case it's of help to anyone out there struggling with the same problem.

  1. Can you share ur aida64 memory latency test curious to see what’s it like.

  2. Good work, did you spend a lot of time finding the optimal RTT and ODT values?

I can see some of buildzoid’s hynix easy timings. Does it pass y-cruncher/tm5/karhu?

  4. astrobarn

I am also curious if this passes y-cruncher

What’s your motherboard? Do you have a recommendation for an mATX board for RAM overclock?

  6. Healthy_BrAd6254

I thought 4 sticks of RAM at 6000MT/s was impossible

Four rams can make some problems on cpu imc, two is easier to imc.

That’s some impressive combination of dedication and luck

    congratulations on both!
